
Statutes of the voter group "Citizens for Riedstadt" BfR

Preamble
The voting group Citizens for Riedstadt bases its political work on the basic principles of ecological, grassroots-democratic, social and non-violent thinking and acting. The BfR exclusively pursues charitable purposes and is not entered in the register of associations.
§ 1 Name and registered office
1. The voter group bears the name "Citizens for Riedstadt (BfR)".2. Headquarters of the BfR in Riedstadt-Leeheim.3. The fiscal year is the calendar year
§ 2 Membership
1. Anyone who lives in Riedstadt can become a member of the BfR2. Membership must be applied for in writing to one of the speakers. The Executive Board decides on admission with a simple majority3. Membership ends when the Executive Board is informed in writing about resignation, exclusion or expiration due to relocation at the end of the year.4. An exclusion can occur due to a significant violation of the statutes. A general meeting will discuss the exclusion in a non-public session. Those affected shall be given the opportunity to be heard.5. The membership fee is determined by a membership fee statute to be adopted by the general assembly.
§ 5 The Board of Directors
1. The board consists of at least three and a maximum of 12 people2. The board consists of 2 spokespersons and a treasurer, recorder and assessor.3. The two spokespersons and treasurer form the executive board, always 2 members of the executive board represent the citizens' association in writing4. The Board of Directors is elected for a period of 2 years5. The Board of Directors manages the day-to-day business of the constituency and is responsible for drawing up a political programme.6. The board elections are to be announced at the general meeting.7. Treasurer is responsible for the proper cash management of the BfR. He/she is obliged to present an annual report at the annual general meeting.8. The two cash auditors elected at the annual general meeting control the cash management and report to the members. They may not belong to the Board of Directors.9. The spokespersons elected in each case coordinate the ongoing work of the BfR, in particular the content and organizational issues, and oversee publications in the press.10. The speakers are the contact persons.
§ 6 General Assembly
The General Assembly consists of all members of the association

Non-members have speaking rights but no voting rights
The General Assembly is the supreme body of the association. Their tasks include in particular the election and deselection of the board of directors, discharge of the board of directors, receipt of reports from the board of directors, election of the cash auditors, determination of contributions and their due date, resolutions on changes to the statutes, resolutions on the dissolution of the voter group, decisions on Exclusion of members in cases of appointment as well as other tasks, insofar as these result from the statutes or according to the law.

An ordinary general meeting takes place in the first quarter of each financial year. The board is obliged to convene an extraordinary general meeting if at least one third of the members request this in writing, stating the reasons.
The General Assembly is convened by the Board of Directors with a notice period of 2 weeks in the relevant daily newspapers and by email, stating the agenda.
§ 7 cash check
The two auditors are elected every 2 years. They check the cash register every year and apply for the discharge of the board of directors.
§ 8 Effective Date
These statutes always come into force with the general meeting of the changes.
