"What made me want to take part as a candidate in the BfR voter group: From the moment I took my first breath, I was a real Leeheimer, later a Riedstadt resident. My special bond with Riedstadt was obviously innate in me. Anyone who asks me about my motivation will quickly realize that the answer is very easy for me: For me, Riedstadt is more than a place where I was born and live, this is my home. Here I am grounded. Our community in Riedstadt is close to my heart and a number of political conflicts have frustrated me recently. In everything I want to move, shape and change in politics, the following applies without reservation: the focus must always be on the citizen. For me, good politics is always a matter of the heart, it has to be transparent for me and understandable for everyone. For me, the focus is on our larger community, each district with its citizens and its problems.”
Karlheinz Hebermehl 2nd place on the list
“It is overdue that the political structures in Riedstadt change. I stand up for citizen politics and reject party politics. I campaigned for more information policy for the population of the city of Riedstadt. Especially with the topic of recurring street posts, the responsible persons were only given insufficient information.

I'm running for the election because while working in the "interest group for street contributions" I noticed enormous ignorance among almost all representatives elected by the people and a great deal of uncertainty and irritation among the citizens of Riedstadt. Together with the rest of the board, I felt compelled to set up a voter group that would offer voters an alternative way of voting in the upcoming local elections. That's why I will be running as part of the BfR "Bürger für Riedstadt" in the next local elections in March 2021 and will stand up to the "established" parties."

What prompted me to become a member of the BfR voter group and to make myself available as a candidate? Through the Riedstadt street contributions petition, I also came into contact with the voter group Citizens for Riedstadt, BfR. Due to the election programs and the political ideologies of the respective parties, many citizens do not actually feel 100% supported in any of the political parties. For all those citizens for whom the political, ideological orientation is not important, but rather the concrete concern for the concerns of the citizens of our city, I find the BfR voter group an important and necessary institution. BfR is important in order to make the voice of all citizens heard and to be able to get involved politically without being positioned in a political direction."

I've been extremely frustrated politically for a long time. In the circle of friends and acquaintances you always hear: "You can't change anything." In the past I have used a number of opportunities to get political information in order to maybe change something. For example, I was at public city council meetings or visited the annual discussion evenings where the mayor answers the questions of his population. I asked my questions well informed. Be it on the subject of children's playgrounds in Riedstadt or the topic of road renovations, the questions were deliberately avoided in an extremely unprofessional manner. The current situation with the The icing on the cake is recurring street contributions. Such good research and an alternative financing option that has been calculated down to the last detail, such as that provided by the IG Street Contributions team, is avoided in such a clumsy and disinterested manner that my last belief in politics begins to falter For this reason I would like to present myself as a candidate for the next election period and promise to represent the interests of the electoral group, Bürger für Riedstadt, with the greatest possible commitment.”
Daniel Steinmetz list place 6
"Motivation: Working in a club and on the parents' council at two schools means that there are always points of contact with politics. That's why I'm very interested in looking behind the curtain and helping to shape things instead of just complaining."

Wiltraud fragrance list place 7
“Why do I want to be part of the constituency? Personally, I consider the topics mentioned so far to be important. And – if I may say so casually – I also believe that quietly “bitching yourself” doesn’t change anything – so I decided to get off the sofa and get involved. It remains to be seen whether I will be able to do this as profitably as possible for the citizens. But if you don't try anything, you've already lost anyway."
Helmuth Keller list place 8
“I have had many political talks in recent months. In the process, I got the feeling that my concerns were not being given enough attention. That's why I spoke out in favor of the BfR voter group in order to be able to exert more direct influence. It needs fellow campaigners who discuss, contribute ideas and stand for election. This is the only way I see the opportunity to participate constructively in political decisions for Riedstadt.”

Eckhard Gruhn list place 9
"The reasons for my joining are: a) the great injustice of the street contributions between the individual districts b) how the interests of the Riedstadt citizens are heard and dealt with in local politics c) that all districts are treated equally in local politics, that it is not just is about local thinking, but about Riedstadt"
Hans Dieter Melchior list place 10
It is important to me to reduce the gap between citizens and politics, and to influence political decisions at the same time.”

Klaus Knapp list place 11
I was born in Leeheim, grew up and live here to this day. I learned the motor vehicle mechanic's trade and later did my master's degree. I've been liking the political decisions in Riedstadt less and less lately. That's why I decided to stand as a candidate so that I might make a difference.
Manuela Sander list place 12
"Professionally, I have contact with a lot of citizens from Riedstadt, I found out about their concerns from conversations, which is why I want to get involved for the benefit of our city. Close to the people and politically independent, I would like to help shape it. I am determined to do "persuasion work" and to clarify dubious facts before the decision is made."

Hartmut Vischer list place 13
“I work with this group to achieve more justice in the problems at hand. So that all citizens feel treated equally.”
Ilona Siebert list place 14
“Reasons why I want to support the BFR … Many citizens do not agree with the decisions that are made in the Riedstadt town hall. They express their dissatisfaction, complain about decisions made and are dissatisfied. The important thing is to go the decisive step further: try to change something and bring in new ideas - and fight for it."

Gerlinde Schad list place 15
"After 28 years I'm back in my old home town of Riedstadt/Leeheim. I see my task in our liberal, constitutional democracy primarily as supporting social affairs, law and justice and not leaving people alone with their worries.”
Walter Bonn list place 16
"Listen Think Care Shape Citizens for Riedstadt - BfR That's why I'm there!"

Ralf Schad list place 17
"I would like to get involved in passing on and pursuing the interests of the people of Riedstadt to the city. You shouldn't simply accept everything that is decided and question it more."
Arnold Müller list position 18
“I volunteered for football for 27 years. I was responsible for the clubs in the district for 18 years. My goal was always to treat this community equally. However, I was no longer able to determine this uniformity at a town meeting in Goddelau in 2018. Because the mayor's exercise of power over visitors at this event showed that there is no such thing as regularity. I want to make my contribution to the equality and justice of the Riedstadt citizens in the future."

Rolf Lipka list place 19
"I am part of the Citizens for Riedstadt voting group and would like to strengthen the influence of those who directly feel the consequences of political decisions."
